On Saturday, November 5th, at 11am, for the 33rd year in a row, Steve Jones will attempt to carry weights on his shoulders up the mountain. At the bottom Steve will start with 325 pounds and work his way up to 700 pounds as he reaches the top of the mountain. This year’s event will benefit Life Beacon Foundation.
The mission of Life Beacon Center is to provide a self-supporting non-profit residence for recovering individuals, offering a simple, cost effective, safe, structured, drug and alcohol free environment as a source of hope and inspiration to promote a positive, healthy lifestyle.
For more information, call Robert Allen at 717-577-0553. Donations will be accepted at Roundtop on November 5 leading up to the event, and t-shirts will be available for purchase from Steve Jones.
